Terms & Conditions

Careerpedia Edutech Private Limited — Online Training Program Terms & Conditions and Candidate Agreement. By paying the token amount, signing this Agreement, paying the course fee, accessing the LMS, attending live classes, or using any services provided by Careerpedia, the Candidate acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.

01Program Details

Careerpedia offers online live training programs in selected domains, including but not limited to Data Science & Data Analytics, Full Stack Development, AI & ML Engineering, UI/UX Design, and Cyber Security. The selected course, batch start date, schedule, fee structure, payment mode, mentor allocation, and LMS access details are communicated through the enrollment confirmation. Unless otherwise communicated in writing, the standard program duration is four (4) months from the official batch start date.

02Mode of Training

  • Training is delivered through online live classes via video conferencing platforms, LMS-integrated tools, or other digital mediums.
  • The Candidate is responsible for a stable internet connection, a laptop/desktop, required software, and any technical setup needed for participation.
  • Careerpedia is not liable for learning loss or missed sessions arising from internet issues, device failures, power outages, personal unavailability, or login difficulties.

03LMS Access & Class Recordings

  • Course materials, assignments, notices, recordings, and resources are made available through the LMS.
  • Where technically feasible, recordings of live classes are uploaded for revision and missed-session support.
  • LMS access remains valid for one (1) year from the official batch start or enrollment activation date.
  • Content is for personal educational use only — no unauthorized downloading, copying, screen-recording, credential sharing, redistribution, or commercial exploitation. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.

04Attendance Requirement

  • The Candidate must maintain a minimum attendance of ninety percent (90%) in live training sessions.
  • Attendance is monitored through LMS records, live class logs, login reports, and mentor records.
  • Viewing recorded sessions does not automatically qualify as attendance unless approved in writing.
  • Failure to meet attendance may result in ineligibility for course completion, certification, project reviews, assessments, and evaluations.

05Assignment & Project Completion

  • The Candidate must complete and submit at least eighty percent (80%) of all assigned projects, assignments, tasks, and assessments within prescribed timelines.
  • Submissions must be made through the LMS or an official designated platform; late submissions may be accepted or rejected at Careerpedia's discretion.
  • Plagiarized, copied, fake, or AI-generated work submitted without understanding may be rejected.
  • Careerpedia may request demonstrations, explanations, or revisions to verify genuine participation.

06Candidate Responsibilities

  • Attend live classes regularly and review missed class recordings.
  • Complete assignments and projects, and follow mentor instructions.
  • Communicate with the Relationship Manager or support team and monitor LMS updates.
  • Maintain discipline during sessions and pay fees according to the agreed schedule.

07Course Completion & Certification

Eligibility for course completion, certification, assessments, and evaluations may depend on minimum 90% attendance, minimum 80% assignment/project completion, successful internal assessments, proper participation, full fee payment, and compliance with LMS usage policies and this Agreement. Careerpedia reserves the right to withhold certificates or eligibility where these requirements are not met.

08Career Support & Placement Disclaimer

Careerpedia is an online training and upskilling platform. We do not guarantee placement, employment, internships, salary packages, interview calls, or employer shortlisting. Career-related services such as resume assistance, interview preparation, and project reviews are support services only. Hiring decisions are made solely by employers. No verbal statement constitutes a placement guarantee unless provided in writing by an authorized signatory.

09Evaluation After Course Completion

Eligible Candidates may be invited to participate in evaluations, assessments, or score-based reviews. Any evaluation score reflects performance at the time of assessment and does not guarantee employment, interviews, placements, salary packages, or employer acceptance.

10Fee Structure

  • Applicable course fee, token amount, payment schedule, GST, financing details, and balance payable are specified in the enrollment confirmation or invoice.
  • Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension of live class access, LMS access, assignment reviews, certification, and evaluation eligibility.

11Token Amount & Verification Call

Careerpedia may collect a token amount to reserve a seat. A verification call may confirm the selected course, fee structure, refund policy, placement disclaimer, batch details, LMS access, and Candidate understanding. If the Candidate does not agree with the clarified terms, cancellation may be requested within the applicable refund period.

12Agreement Signing & Balance Payment

Following the verification process, the Candidate signs this Agreement. Only after execution may the Candidate proceed with balance fee payment, loan processing, final enrollment, batch confirmation, and LMS activation. By signing, the Candidate confirms they are not relying on any verbal promise or unofficial communication not documented by Careerpedia.

13Refund Policy

Careerpedia provides a five (5) calendar day refund window from the date of token amount payment. This entitlement applies even if the Agreement has been signed, provided the request is submitted within the period. After expiry, all fees are non-refundable except where Careerpedia is unable to deliver the program due to reasons solely attributable to Careerpedia. Payment gateway charges, loan processing fees, banking charges, taxes, and third-party deductions already incurred may remain non-refundable.

14Loan Payment Terms

Where the Candidate finances the course through a loan, EMI facility, or third-party lender, the financing arrangement exists solely between the Candidate and the lender. Careerpedia is not responsible for loan approvals/rejections, interest rates, EMI schedules, processing fees, repayment obligations, foreclosure terms, or credit matters. Cancellation of enrollment does not automatically cancel financing unless confirmed in writing by the lender.

15Batch Change, Deferment & Pause

Batch changes, deferments, pauses, or transfers are not guaranteed rights and may be approved at Careerpedia's sole discretion based on seat availability, academic feasibility, fee clearance, and written approval. Personal commitments, work schedules, relocation, examinations, or repeated absence do not automatically qualify a Candidate for refunds, extensions, or repeat access.

16Code of Conduct

  • Maintain respectful behavior toward mentors, staff, support teams, and fellow learners.
  • Do not abuse, threaten, harass, or disturb others, or share offensive or illegal content.
  • Do not record/distribute sessions without authorization, misuse LMS access, or share login credentials.
  • Violations may result in warnings, suspension, LMS deactivation, withheld certificates, removal, or termination without refund.

17Intellectual Property

All course content, recordings, assignments, curriculum, project briefs, mentor resources, templates, videos, and training materials are the intellectual property of Careerpedia or its licensors. The Candidate receives a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, non-commercial license for personal educational use only.

18Communication & Notices

Careerpedia may communicate via phone calls, WhatsApp, SMS, email, LMS notifications, CRM communications, and other official channels. The Candidate must keep contact information accurate and updated. Careerpedia is not responsible for missed communications resulting from inaccurate details or failure to review communications.

19Data Consent

The Candidate authorizes Careerpedia to collect, process, store, and use personal information for enrollment, fee processing, LMS access, attendance tracking, academic reporting, support, evaluations, certifications, communication, and operational requirements. Information may include name, phone, email, educational and payment details, attendance records, submissions, feedback, and performance reports — processed only for lawful purposes.

20Feedback, Testimonials & Success Stories

Careerpedia may request feedback, testimonials, reviews, project showcases, or success stories. Participation is voluntary unless agreed in writing, and appropriate consent is obtained before publishing any testimonial, image, video, or success story for promotional purposes.

21Limitation of Liability

Careerpedia's obligations are limited to providing the enrolled training program, LMS access, learning resources, mentor sessions, assignments, and support services. Careerpedia is not liable for lack of Candidate effort, missed classes due to Candidate-side issues, device/internet failures, employer hiring decisions, salary outcomes, loan-related issues, third-party downtime, or reliance on unofficial communications.

22Force Majeure

Careerpedia is not liable for delays or interruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet/power outages, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, cyber incidents, technical failures, and emergencies. In such cases Careerpedia may reschedule classes, extend access, or provide recordings.

23Modification of Program Structure

Careerpedia reserves the right to modify class schedules, mentor assignments, curriculum sequencing, project structures, LMS platforms, tools, assessment methods, and delivery processes. Such modifications shall not materially alter the core objectives of the enrolled program.

24Grievance & Support

For support, clarification, refund requests, technical issues, LMS concerns, attendance matters, or academic queries, the Candidate shall contact Careerpedia through official support channels. Careerpedia will make reasonable efforts to address genuine concerns within a reasonable timeframe.
